National Asthma Council Australia Sensitive Choice®

Mafi is currently not a partner of the NACA Sensitive Choice program.

Mafi were a proud partner and sponsor of the Sensitive Choice program for almost a decade 2013-2020. We continue to applaud their important work.

Approved products in the Sensitive Choice® program go through an extensive evaluation process and need to satisfy an independent Product Advisory Panel.

Asthma is a huge issue, with over two million people suffering in Australia alone*.  mafi Australia, together with Sensitive Choice® are proud to offer you a healthier and safer engineered timber flooring choice for you and your family.

For over 80 years, mafi has been committed to improving the health and aesthetics of the indoor living space.  These days, we spend around ninety percent of our time indoors**. This is a significant health issue when you consider that indoor air is up to five times more polluted than outside air due to the chemicals used in the production of buildings and furniture, that we then seal in. Chemicals, mould, smoke, pollen and dust are all environmental triggers that can promote the affects of asthma and allergies.  mafi floors are free from chemicals and VOCs, providing the best choice in Asthma timber flooring. Poor indoor air quality can also lead to lack of concentration, tiredness, sleep disturbance, sore muscles, breathing trouble and dizziness in everyone, regardless if you suffer from asthma and allergies.

mafi is the leading choice for Asthma flooring.
